What is the difference between servo controlled & static controlled?

I am guessing but servo control uses another method (hydraulics, electrics or similar) to apply a force on an object. Static control means that the object is controlled directly by rods, levers or similar devices.

Hope this helpsWhat is the difference between servo controlled %26amp; static controlled?
From the terminology, I assume that you are asking the difference between servo controlled and static controlled voltage stabilizer.

A servo controlled device uses the following:

1. Error sensor to sense the deviation between desired value and actual value

2. Servo amplifier to provide the required gain and time for response

3. Servo motor coupled to an actuator to correct the error

In a static controlled environment, instead of servo motor, there are no moving parts. It uses switching technology (like transistors, thyristors, solid state relays etc) to correct the error.
