i m having a presentation on next week, could anybody give me some details about AC servo amplifier and servo control?Can anyone help to explain what is servo amplifier and servo control?
In a Cliff Note's explanation: An AC servo amplifier consist of a constant incoming voltage and frequency while producing a varying output frequency that will change the speed, acceleration, deccel, direction, etc.. of an AC motor. The controller provides the signals to the ';AMP'; that can be programmed, cammed, referenced,,,,,, it really goes as far as you would like to build your equipment/process. You will get precision speed and positioning.
